MASSERIA PEZZA
The probable name of the farm was “Lopez”, from the surname of a noble Spanish family which was later changed to Lo Pezza and then Pezza. The farm was already present in the land register of Terra D’Otranto in 1747. It was where tobacco and wheat were grown and sheep and pigs were raised.
Today Masseria Pezza is an accommodation facility and a farm with 20 hectares of land planted with vines, olive trees, orchards and arable land. The current owners Antonio and Giorgio, with their hearts between Milan and Salento, find in this place refreshment from the frenzy and authentic roots, and love to share it with friends and guests.
